Job Title: Business Development Manager – Business Operations

Reports to: CEO/Managing Director

Location: Lagos/Port Harcourt

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Development Manager to oversee our l operations. As a Manager, you will be responsible for leading our business operations, driving growth, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our customers. You will work closely with the CEO/Managing Director to develop and implement regional business strategies, manage budgets, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Regional Strategy and Planning:

• Develop and implement regional business strategies to drive growth, revenue, and market share.

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform business decisions.

• Collaborate with the CEO/Managing Director to align regional strategies with overall business objectives.

2. Operations Management:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the regional office, ensuring efficient use of resources and high-quality service delivery.

• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of the region.

• Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

3. Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

• Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management across the region.

4. Customer Relationship Management:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.

• Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives.

5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure regional performance.

• Provide regular reports to the CEO/Managing Director and other stakeholders on regional performance, progress, and challenges.

Requirements:

1. Education:

   Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

2. Experience

   Minimum 8-10 years of experience in business management, operations, or a related field. Proven track record of success in a regional management role.
